Sage Townsend
Sage Townsend is an artist and designer/maker based in London. She studied a BA in Fine Art at John Moores University in Liverpool and developed drawings and large-scale paintings that have been exhibited and sold globally. She subsequently studied both Design Craft Processes and Millinery at Kensington & Chelsea College. In 2013 Sage was awarded the Cordwainers’ MA Scholarship to study on the prestigious MA Fashion Artefact at London College of Fashion and graduated with Distinction. Sage has worked for various artists and designers such as Julie Verhoeven and Stephen Jones. Alongside her own independent practice she currently lectures at various further and higher education institutes.
